Account

Overview

Your account controls how you sign in, receive notifications, appear to other users, and view account-related history. After signing in, open Account Settings from the account menu to manage your profile, security, notifications, transactions, and preferences.

Registration

You can create an account from the sign-up page, a pool Join Link, or an invitation email. Registration asks for your name, email address, password, password confirmation, and acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

If you create an account from a Join Link or invitation, the pool information is carried through the registration flow so you can continue joining after your account is created.

Login

Sign in with the email address and password for your My Survivor Pool account. If you were invited to a pool, use the same email address that received the invitation whenever possible.

If you do not see the pool or entries you expect after signing in, you may be using a different account. Sign out and try the email address you used when joining the pool.

Email Verification

Email verification is required before making picks. After creating an account, check your inbox for the verification email and click the link to confirm your address.

If you need to use a different email address, update it from the Profile page in Account Settings, then request a new verification email.

Resend Verification Email

If you did not receive the verification email, check spam, junk, promotions, or filtered inbox folders first.

After signing in, the verification prompt includes a Resend verification email option. Use that link to send a new verification message to the email address on your account.

Password Reset

If you forgot your password, use Forgot your password? from the login page. Enter your email address and My Survivor Pool will send a password reset link.

The reset page asks for your email address, new password, and password confirmation. After resetting, return to the login page and sign in with the new password.

Profile

The Profile tab in Account Settings lets you manage your profile photo, name, and email address.

These details help identify you in pools, leaderboards, discussions, and host entry management tools.

Profile Photo

Use Set Profile Photo to upload and crop an image for your account. If you already have a profile photo, you can remove it from the same Profile tab.

Name and Email Address

Use Edit Account Information on the Profile tab to update your name or email address.

Your email address is used for login, verification, invitations, and account notifications. If you change it, make sure it is an address you can access.

Security and Password

The Security tab lets you change your password. You will enter your current password, a new password, and confirmation for the new password.

Passwords must be at least 8 characters. Use a unique password that you do not reuse on other sites.

Notification Preferences

The Notifications tab lets you choose which notifications you want to receive. Each notification type has its own toggle.

Notification preferences can affect pool discussion notifications, reminders, and other account messages depending on the options available for your account.

Transaction History

The Transactions tab shows past account transaction history when available. The table includes the date, description, amount, and card information for each transaction.

If there is no history for your account, the page will show that you have no transaction history.

Preferences and Timezone

The Preferences tab lets you set your timezone. Your timezone controls how dates, kickoff times, and deadlines are displayed throughout the app.

Available timezone options are Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific time.
